Coeburn, VA ~ Alice LuElla Haynes, 78, died Thursday, March 6, 2003 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
Mrs. Haynes had made her home with her late sister, Della and brother-in-law Jack Stallard for the past 30 years and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband Burley "Peanut" Haynes; her parents, Walker and Venia Johnson Chaffin; 3 sisters, Della Stallard, Margie Osborne and Mabel Jordan.
Survivors include a sister, Leona Mayo of Fairoaks, CA; special friend, Nola Mae Holbrook and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services for Alice LuElla Haynes will be held Sunday, March 9, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marty Puckett and Rev. Leon Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Coeburn.Visitation will be held at Estes Funeral Home on Saturday after 6:00 P.M.
