Alonzo Sexton, 75, went to be with the Lord at his residence on April 10, 2024.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Audrey Sexton;  daughter Regina Sexton; son, Brian Sexton; three sisters; one infant brother.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 16 years, Rosemary Sexton; sons, Dickie Sexton, Brandon (Grace) Sexton; special son, Andy Keen; daughters, April Tipton, Tabitha Tipton; special daughter, Libby (Clayton) Laney; grandchildren, Dalton Sexton, Triston Sexton, Joseph Coffey, Bella Sexton, Melody Sexton, Madison Sexton, Cheyenne Sexton, Jon Tipton, Jace Tipton; special grandchildren, Alyssa Keen and Isaac Laney; brothers, Honkey (Bonnie) Sexton, Hoss Sexton, David Sexton; special brother and sister in law, Bubby and Ethel Sexton; sisters Sue Darnell, Barbara Johnson, Goo (John) Baker and Shirley Gibson; special niece and caregiver, Christy Sexton Johnson; special friend, Pauline Berry; several nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:00PM on Saturday, April  13, 2024 at the Estes Funeral in Coeburn, VA or anytime at the residence.  Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel immediately following the visitation with Rev, Jimmy (Bubby) Darnell officiating.  Music will be provided by Tim and April Baldwin. Committal will follow at the Sexton Cemetery in the Flatwoods community of Coeburn.  Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Estes Funeral Home to assist with burial expenses.
