Coeburn, VA ~ AlviaDavis Smith, 58 died Thursday, September 25, 2008 at her residence in Coeburn Virginia.
She was the daughter of the late James L. and Anna Ruth Davis, also preceded in death by her husband, David Smith; son David Eugene Smith; 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Survivors include, one daughter, Martha E. "Libby" Ball, Coeburn; two sons, James R. Smith, and Chad Smith both of Coeburn; three sisters, Nancy Sparks, Erwin, TN, Lucy Eaton, Hickory, NC, and Sally Austin, Churchill, TN; onebrother, Harry Lynn Davis, St. Paul; 9 grandchildrenand 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Alvia Smith will be held after 5:00 P.M. Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Estes Funeral Home Chapel and funeral servces will be held at 8:00 P.M. with Rev. Joe Ramey officiating. Burial will be at Booher Cemetery in Mendota, VA on Sunday, September 28, 2008. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Estes Funeral Home to help with funeral expense.
