Anna (Ann) May Willis, 87, of Coeburn, VA passed away June 4, 2024 peacefully at her home surrounded by family after a battle with Dementia.
Ann was a lifelong member of Bethel Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. She was a very selfless, kind, and helpful woman. Anytime anyone would need anything done she was always ready to help even if she didn't feel well. She loved listening to gospel music, reading her bible, working puzzles, flower gardening and spending time with her family and dogs, Daisy and Bailey.
Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Willis; son, Berlon Willis; grandson, Berlon (Andy) Willis, Jr.; parents, Casper B. Lane and Julia Lane; step-mother, Maggie Lane; sisters, Ella Bledsoe, Nova Lee Johnson, Nan Wood, Rita Hamilton, and Gladys Mullins; brothers, Randall Lane, Berlon Lane, and Dewey Lane.
Ann is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Jim) Meade, Margaret (Jon) Owens, and Melissa (Tom) Jones; sons, Michael (Teena) Willis, and Jeffery Willis; grandchildren, James Meade, Anna (Kevan) Kukulka, Jeana Willis, Lindsay Willis, Jordan Willis, Justina (Ryan) Sluss, Courtney (Adam) Swann, Kayla Jones (Jamie Anderson), and Bailey Adams; great-grandchildren, Taylor (Josh), Emma, Kayleigh, Jase, Reed, Colton, Jalen, and Mason (On The Way); sister, Burita Morgan; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor can be made to Alzheimer's Association.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Estes Funeral Home in Coeburn, VA. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm with Bro. Randy Carter officiating and special singing by Voices of Victory. Committal services will be 11:00 am Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Collins-Gilliam Cemetery, Coeburn Mountain Road, in Wise, VA.
Pallbearers will be, Michael Willis, Jeff Willis, Jon Owens, Josh Sturgill, Ryan Sluss, and Adam Swann.
