Anna Scott (Wright) Hylton-St. Paul, Virginia

Anna Scott (Wright) Hylton, age 92, passed into her Savior's arms on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the home of her daughter.

Anna was born in Toms Creek, Virginia, to the late William Floyd Wright and Annette Curly Wright. She was one of thirteen children. Growing up in such a large family instilled in her, at an early age, the love and passion required to nurture a warm and caring home.

She was a devoted wife to her late husband, John Hylton; a beloved mother to her five children; and a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Anna was a faithful Christian and attended multiple churches throughout her lifetime. She will be deeply missed by everyone who was blessed to know her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Hylton; six sisters; six brothers; and grandsons Patrick McDonald and Christopher Osborne.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Deborah Sue Osborne; Anna Kathleen Papp of Kingsport, TN; Johnnie  Diane Clark of Lexington, KY; Bobby Joe Hylton and wife Elisha of Kentucky; and Robin Ellen Gane and husband Bruce of Florida. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Michelle Archer (Dustan), John Papp (Ashley), Brian Parkey, Jessica Parkey, B.J. Hylton, Kevin Hylton (Ashley), Blake Gane (Shea), Anna Gane, and Bryce Gane; several great-grandchildren; along with other close relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Estes Funeral Home in Coeburn, Virginia.

The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Randy Brown officiating. Special music will be provided by Estes Funeral Home and Randy Brown.

Her committal will be held following in the Mausoleum at Temple Hill Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
