Coeburn, VA ~ Barbara Ann Harris Bright, 66,passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Norton Community Hospital in Norton Virginia.
Shewas a retired nurse of Norton Community Hospital and former captain of Coeburn Rescue Squad.
She was the daughter of the late Arnold Edward andHazel Ann Harris; also preceded in deathby one sister, Margie Francis Teasley; three brothers, Delbert Harris, Carl Harris and Joseph Bruce Harris.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Lynn Bright; one daughter,Anninita Dawn McConnell, Coeburn; three sons, Arthur L. Bright, Edward Norris Bright, and Eric Cameron Bright, all of Coeburn; one sister, Betty May Harris, Rockville, MD; two brothers, Raymond Donald 'Donnie' Harris, Falls Church, VA andRoger Lee Harris, Reo Rancho, NM; 9 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Barbara Ann Bright will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. R. L. Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday after 6:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave., Coeburn, VA.
