Coeburn, VA ~ Bernice "Niecey" Odle Buchanan, 89, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Mountain View Medical Center in Norton Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover L. Buchanan; parents, John Odle and Jane Odle; Step-mother, Ethel Elizabeth Odle; brother, Burley Odle and Johnny Odle; sisters, Clara Nixon and Vena Mae Spears.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Joyce B. King, Shirley B. Blevins and Ruth Nestor all of Coeburn; 4 sons, Donald Buchanan, Oak Harbor, Ohio, Willard Buchanan, Ralph Buchanan and Hershel Buchanan all of Coeburn; sister, Opal Buchanan, Abingdon, ; 3 brothers, Jake Odle, Emory B. Odle and Charles William "Bill" Odle all of Coeburn; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.

Visitation for Bernice Odle Buchanan will be held Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009 after 6:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel and funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 04, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Ritchie, Rev. James Wilson and Jonnah Shoop officiating. Burial willfollow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Coeburn. Estes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
