Coeburn, VA ~ Betty Tompkins Edwards, 88 passed awayMonday, November 2, 2015 at her residence in Coeburn Virginia with her family by her side.
She was the daughter of the late Paul Ted Tompkins and Millie Moore Tompkins.
Betty is survived by her husband of 68 years, Thomas E. Edwards; a daughter, Donna Edwards, Nashville, TN; two grandsons, Mark Lawson, Seattle, WA and Matthew Lawson and wife, Tammie, Spring Hill, TN; three great granddaughters, Millie, Dee, and Kaci; two sisters, Anna Mann, Jacksonville, FL and Jean Tompkins, Hanford, CA; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Betty Jo Edwards will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 7:00 PM at Coeburn United Methodist Church with Rev. Barry Sarver and Rev. Leon O'Quinn officiating. Burial will be 11 am Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday after 5:00 P.M. at the Church till funeral time.
