Betty A. Hughes, 89, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Betty attended Marys Chaple and South Coeburn Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother: Walter & Delphia Hughes; and sons: Clifford Eugene Hughes and Walter Hughes Jr.

She is survived by 1 sister: Mary Francis Culbertson of Ohio; 2 brothers: Fred Hughes of Ohio and John Hughes of South Carolina; and sister-in-law: Joyce Hughes of Ohio.

There will be a graveside service conducted Friday, June 18, 2021 at 1:00pm in the Greenwood Acres Memorial Garden Cemetery with burial to follow.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Estes Funeral Home will be serving the Hughes family.
