Brenda Clark Kilgore- Coeburn, VA.,

Brenda Clark Kilgore, age 70, of Coeburn, Virginia, passed into glory on Sunday, December 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Brenda was a lifelong resident of Wise County and dearly loved her community. She was employed by Wise County Public Schools as a cafeteria manager, where she served faithfully for many years. She devoted her life to caring for her daughter and took great pride in feeding other children wholesome, nourishing meals.

Brenda was a devoted Christian who was saved at a young age and lived her life firmly grounded in faith. She was also a devoted pet lover, and her animals were a cherished part of her life. Brenda shared a very special bond with her beloved aunt, Nell Yeary. Above all else, Brenda's whole world was her beloved daughter, whom she loved and treasured beyond measure.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Lee Clark.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, April Denise Kilgore of the home; her two "grand-dogs," Otis and Sugar; her beloved aunt, Nell Yeary; and several special friends with whom she shared many treasured memories.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at Estes Funeral Home. (114 High Ave NE, Coeburn, VA 24230)

A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor R. J. Rose officiating.

Special music will be provided by Estes Funeral Home.

Her committal service will be held following in Powell Valley Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be: Larry Yeary, Grant Yeary, Bret Hughes, Seth Hall, Matthew Burke, & Mikey Hobbs.
