On Sunday May 30, 2021, Brenda Allene Rose lost her battle with cancer and was welcomed into the arms of our Lord. Brenda was born May 1, 1962 to the parents of Elva Rose and Goldie Hamilton Rose of Caney Ridge in Coeburn VA. She held on to her faith and through it all God was with her even in the end.

Brenda not only was a wonderful mother but she was an amazing grandmother. Her children and grandchildren will always be her whole world and blood did not matter. Brenda was fun, loving, always smiling, and she made sure you never left her without a smile, hug and know she loved you. Brenda was one of the very few that got to work at her dream job. She was an eligibility worker with Scott County Social Services and had some of the best co workers ever. They say that your work family becomes your family and they really had became part of hers. Thank you to all at Scott County Social Services for everything not only for our beloved mother but for all of us also.

Brenda is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Virginia Hamilton; her paternal grandparents, Arvil and Ester Rose; several uncles and aunts; a very special sister-in-law Vickie Rose Peggy Wallace, along with her loving father Elva Rose; and her baby boy Brandon Gibson.

She is survived but her mother: Goldie Rose of Coeburn, VA, children and their spouses: Jimmy Allen Rose and Amanda of Swords Creek, VA, Telina and Justin Greear of Coeburn, VA, Amber and Terry Blevins of Coeburn, VA. Also 2 very special sons Johnny Rose and Steven Fourney. Her grandchildren Dakota Casey, Christopher Sluss, Caleb Sluss, Zoey Prater, Jason Casey, Isabelle Rose, Christian Rose, Chloe Rose, Michael Greear, Quila Greear, Koda Greear, Letha Greear, Hilary Chafin, Daniel Blevins, Jeffery Blevins, Angel Blevins, Karen Blevins. She also had 3 great grandchildren Nick, Ben, and JoJo. Her brother and sisters include: Verba (Dennis) Stanley of Nickelsville, Va; Kathy (David) Vaughn of Norton, VA; Christine (David) Jackson of Coeburn; Ronald Rose of Coeburn, VA; Judy (Don) Wilson of Glade Spring, VA; and Rodney Rose of Bristol, TN.She is also survived by a very dear friend, Steve Couch, that not only helped with taking care of her but gave her the companionship she most definitely deserved.

Wayne Keith will preach and the family will have Allen Rose, Johnny Rose, Dakota Casey, Michael Greear, Robbie Greear, Steven Fourney. Honorary Palbears will be Jason Casey, Christian Rose, Koda Greear, Daniel Blevins, Jeffery Blevins.

There will be a visitation held at Estes Funeral Home chapel in Coeburn VA on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funreal service will be conducted Saturday June 5, 2021at 1:00 pm procession will follow to Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton town section of Caney Ridge for graveside service with burial to follow.. The family is making a special request to bring a written memory of Brenda to the funeral and visitation and place in a keepsake box to share her memories for years to come.
