Carl Randolph Morgan, born in Bartley, West Virginia Oct. 23, 1930 to Elmer E. Morgan and Estelle Nichols Morgan, passed away at Norton Community Hospital, Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007.
Carl was a loving husband, father and grandfather and loved the Lord very much. He was a 32nd degree mason, a Korean War veteranand attended Mary's Chapel Church faithfully.
He leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Mary Robinette Morgan; son, Randy Morgan and wife Sharon, Coeburn; daughters, Carla and husband Scott Gilliam, Robin and husband Scott Holbrook all of Coeburn; grandson, Carl (Randy) Morgan, III; brother, Frank Morgan, Coeburn; sisters, Ruth Odle and Helen Hagy both of Coeburn and a host of friends, nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Carl R. Morgan will be held Friday, Feb. 2, 2007 after 5:30 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel where funeral services will be held at 7:30 P.M. with Rev. Marty Puckett, Rev. Mitchell Elliott and Rev. Sammy Hall officiating. Burial will be Saturday Feb. 3, 2007 at Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, VA. The family will meet at the funeral home Saturday morning and will leave in procession to the cemetery at 11:00 A.M. Pall bearerswill be Danny Odle, Charles Odle, Billy Johnson, Frank Morgan, Jr. Josh "Chase" Hughes and Logan Jackson.
