Coeburn, VA ~ Carol Ann Carrell Dorsey, 75 passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Norton Community Hospital in Norton Virginia.
She was the daughter of the late Charles Carlton and Susan Alice Carrell also preceded in death by her husband, Talmage Lee (Tom) Dorsey, a daughter, Katherine Alice 'Kathy' Bevins, a sister, June Grimm, a brother, Ted Stoots and a grandson, Erik Bevins.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Pope, Coeburn; two sons, Randall Payne, Coeburn, and Michael Payne, Wallins Creek, KY; a brother, Charles Carrell, Canal Winchester, OH; several grandchildren, great grandchildren,great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Carol Ann Dorsey will be held on Saturday May 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday after 6:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Erik Bevins Scolarship fund at UVA at Wise, Wise Va. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave., Coeburn, VA.
