Nora, VA ~ Carter Glen McCoy, 74 passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Indian Path Medical Center in Kingsport Tennessee.
He was the son of the late John 'Hop' McCoy and Mabel McCoy; also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley McCoy.
Survivors include two daughters, Diana Hayes, St. Paul, and Debbie Nelson, Walnut, MS; a son, Jeff McCoy, Aurora, IL; a sister, Ruby Brickey, VA; a brother, Clyde McCoy, Nora; a step-son, Allen Hayes, Michigan, MS.;16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Carter Glen McCoy will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM at McCoy Chapel Church with Pastor Stacy Vanover officiating. Burial will follow at McCoy Cemetery on Brushy Ridge. Visitation will be held Friday, after 6:00 P.M. at the McCoy Chapel Church, on Brushy Ridge.
