Charles Donald Caldwell age 82 born on August 10, 1939, passed away peacefully while sleeping on Sunday May 22, 2022, at his place of residence. He joins in heaven his mother, Lakie Bond; father, Clyde Caldwell; siblings, Margaret, Roland, Nancy, James; his two wives, Esther P and Esther R; and son, David.

Charlie served over 38 years with the United States Navy and the United States Postal Service. Charlie loved to cook, sing, tell stories, and spend time with his family. Charlie was well liked and had no enemies; he lived his life to the fullest with honesty and integrity and always cared for his family. He will be sorely missed by his loved ones.

He is survived by his best friend, Sally Douglas; daughter, Shelly Wireman and her family; stepsons, Michael, Steve, and Cesar Abinsay and their families; siblings, Michael, Linda Gay, Bobby Lee, Barbara Sue and their families.
