Charles Clayton McCoy, 47,  entered into rest  Monday, August 18, 2025, surrounded by his family at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. He is the son of Larry (Anita) McCoy, and Ann McCoy.

Charlie was a very outgoing person who could fix anything you put in front of him. He loved his children more than life and was loved by many. Known as the life of the party, he was funny and loved to make everyone laugh.

Along with his parents, Charlie leaves behind two children, Tanner McCoy and Hayven McCoy; brother to, Valerie (Jeff) Marshall, Ryan (Lesa Mullins) McCoy, and bonus sisters Amy (Bobby) Woods and family, and Lou (Randy) Looney and family. He is also survived by his nephew Dylan McCoy; nieces, Ashlyn Marshall, and Destiny Noe.

Charlie is preceded in death by several close cousins, uncles, and grand parents.

Family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Estes Funeral Home in Coeburn, VA.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Prophet William Branham officiating.  Graveside will be held Friday, August 22, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the Hubert McCoy Cemetery, with Jerry McCoy Praying at the committal. Family and friends who wish to follow to the cemetery are asked to meet at the funeral home by 1:30 p.m.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
