Charlotte S. Salyer, 62, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Va. She was of the baptist faith, a retired mail carrier for Coeburn Post Office and a member of Coeburn Lion's Club. She was a beloved person to everyone she met. She made a lasting impression on everyone and put a smile on their face.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Walton, brother, Eugene and other family and friends.

She was survived by her loving husband, Kyle, daughters, Alicia Jacobson (Jon) of Pound, VA, Reshma Prakart of Kirksville, NY, granddaughter Kelsey Stout of Johnson City, TN., mom Maxie McCoy Meade, brothers, Frank (Nancy) Meade, Jack (Katie) Meade, Jim (Kathy) Meade all of Coeburn, VA., Eddie (Regina) Meade of Abingdon, sister-in-law, Sharon, several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, March, 17th, 2021 at Estes Funeral Home chapel from 12:00pm to 1:00pm and burial to follow at Edwards Cemetery, Sandy Ridge section with clergyman Rev. Curt Bond officiating.

Pallbearers will be Travis Meade, Jon Jacobson, Alicia Jacobson, Josh Sturgill, Brian Vance and Gordon Shelton.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to American Cancer Society.

Estes Funeral Home will be serving the Salyer family.
