Coeburn, VA ~ Claudia Ann Lawson Stallard, 71 went to be with the LordWednesday, August 6, 2008 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport Tennessee surrounded by her loving family.
She was a member of the Flatwoods Freewill Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Wilson and Virginia Adkins Lawson; also preceded in death by spouse Hurley Kindwell Stallard, two sisters, Wilma Francis Large, and June Marie Smith; two brothers, Herman Adkins and Clifford Adkins.
Survived by two daughters, Lisa Stallard and Lynette Hamm, and husband, Randall, all of Coeburn, two sons, Charles Kenwell "Ken" Stallard, and wife, M.J. and Stephen D. "Steve" Stallard, all of Coeburn; Three sisters, Lena Adkins Lexington Park, MD, Joyce Hughes, Coeburn and Margie Hockensmith, Englewood, FL; brother, Robert Lawson, Kingsport, TN; 4 grandsons, Brandon Stallard, Orrin Stallard and Fiance Tesha Baker, Hunter Stallard and Alex Hamm; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Claudia Stallard will be held after 6:00 P.M. Friday August 8, 2008 at Estes Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Flatwoods Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Baker Cemetery in Coeburn.
