Coeburn, VA ~ Clifford Eugene Hughes, 85 passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 at his residencein Coeburn Virginia.
He was a retired employee of U.S. Gypsum after 37 years of service and also a U.S. Army veteral of Korean War.
He was the son of the late Walter Hughes and Delphia Ring Hughes.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Shirley Joyce Hughes, Coeburn; two sisters, Betty Hughes, Coeburn and Mary Francis Culbertson, Stow, OH; threebrothers, Walter Hughes Jr., Piedmount, SC, Fred Hughes, Sandusky, OH and Johnny Hughes, Simpsonville, SC; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Clifford Eugene Hughes will be held after 6:00 P.M. Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Estes Funeral Home Chapel and funeral services will be held 7:30 P.M. with Rev. Wayne Perry officiating. Burial will be 11 A.M. Monday September 29, 2014 at Greenwood Acres Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home,114 High Ave., Coeburn, VA.
