Clinton "Ozzy" Johnson, 83, of Coeburn, VA entered into rest on July 14, 2024 at Norton Community Hospital.

Born May 19, 1941 in Coeburn, VA, he was a son of the late George and Fannie Nixon Johnson. Ozzy was well known for his Johnson Chili Seasoning and looked forward to seeing his customers at the store. He was a very social, caring man that loved his animals. Ozzy was a veteran of the US Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Large Johnson; a son, Kevin Johnson; a sister, Anna Lee Culbertson; brothers, Charles Johnson, Dewey Johnson and Jim Johnson.

Ozzy is survived by his granddaughters, Eliza Hope Deel and husband Patrick of Coeburn, VA and Alana Grace Greear and husband, Darren of Johnson City, TN; several-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Estes Funeral Home.  Military Honors will follow in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Carrol Childress will officiate the funeral services.

Burial will be 11:00 AM Friday, July 19, 2024 at Greenwood Acres in Coeburn, VA. those attending the graveside services are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:30 AM on Friday for procession to the cemetery.
