Coeburn, VA - Daisy Jean Meade Mann, 83, died Tuesday, February 19 at Johnson City Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Nellie Meade, her brothers, Walton, Jimmy and Bobby Meade, her sisters, Alma and Madeline, the father of her children, Sampson Mann Sr., her grandson Ronald Jay Mann, Jr.and great grandson Carter Cousins.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Mann of Florida, Ronald Mann of Ohio, Sampson Mann and wife Diane of Coeburn,Tonya and husband Michael Hatfield of Wise, Sherrie and husband Ronnie Day of Dryden and Dorinda and husband Michael Holmes of Pound.She is survived by her grandchildren Shon, Ryan, Carrie, Rob, Kim, Elizabeth, Katharine, Jason, Victoria, Tammy, Lacie and Savannah.She is survived by 20 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Clara Barnette, June Clark, Janice Moody, Emal Westling, Betty Burton, Shirley Spangler and Katie McCowan.
Daisy was a seamstress at Buster Brown Garment Factory for many years.She was a member of Meade's Chapel Church on Sandy Ridge.She enjoyed Tae Bo with her friends in Coeburn and she was a years long member of Coeburn TOPS.

Funeral services for Daisy Mann will be Friday, February 22, 2019 at Estes Funeral Home in Coeburn, Virginia. Family will receive visitors after 5:00 p.m. with funeral services beingheld at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Shelton Meade and Rev. John Westling officiating. Committal service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel. Following the committal there will be a reception at Meades Chapel Church on Sandy Ridge. Burial will be in Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap. Pallbearers will be Sampson Mann Jr., Michael Hatfield, Michael Holmes, Shon Mann, Rob Mann and Phil Dabney. Honorary pallbearers are Jason Mann and Brent Wallace.
