COEBURN, VA
Daisy Carol Ward, 77, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Harry Lee and Mary Lee Adkins.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, Dwight Ward; a daughter, Loretha Ward; four brothers, Bernard, Ronald, Lee Junior, and Guy Adkins; seven sisters, Mildred Lawson, Jewell Stapleton, Charlene Adams, Dorcas Bentley, Annamae Stallard, Nancy Adkins, and Nyoka Gibson.
Survivors include her daughter, Yolanda (James) Moore; two sons, Dwight (Patricia) Ward Jr. and Andrew (Kaylee) Greear; six sisters, Lucinda (James) Teasley, Oma Jean Bruce, Vickie (David) Watkins, Ginger (James) Eggiman, Tammie (James) Chenault, and Burita Winebarger; five grandkids, Destiny (Anthony) Ward, Benji Moore, Jalie (Dakota) Ward, James (JC) Moore, and Matthew Moore; 5 great-grandkids, Annalese Stanley, Kaleigh Ward, Maggie Stanley, Asher Greear, and Michael Collins; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 12:00PM on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at the Ward Cemetery with Sister Rosa-Lee Evans officiating. Online condolences can be sent to the family at
