Dana Elizabeth Phillips Brickey age 70, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at her home in Coeburn, VA.

Dana was born in Dante, VA on October 8, 1951. Dana received her master's degree from MCV University in nursing. After college, she began her career in the healthcare industry. She worked as an operating room nurse for over 20 years, retiring from Norton Community Hospital. Dana was always creating something. From working up recipes in her kitchen, to sewing and making crafts. She owned her own little ceramics store for many years and will always be remembered for her special candy she would always make.

She is preceded in death by her parents Arlett & Margaret Hulsey Phillips; brother Garrett Phillips; and a granddaughter Lauren Olivia Meade.

Dana is survived by her husband of 31 years Sidney Brickey; two sons Joshua Meade & David Meade; grandchildren Lindsey Meade, Isaac Meade, and Brayden Meade; brother Arlett Phillips, Jr. & wife Margaret; sister Rita Harvey & husband Neal; and several other loving family and friends.
