Darrel Burnes Stanley – Coeburn, VA

Darrel Burnes Stanley, 79, of Coeburn, VA entered into rest Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at his home. He was born in Clintwood, VA on September 9, 1943, to the late Dewey and Martha Rose Stanley.

In addition to his parents, Darrel was preceded in death by his son, Darrel Burnes Stanley, JR; his grandson, Michael Wampler; brothers, Herschel Stanley, Junior Stanley, James Stanley, and Carlos Stanley; sisters, Ava Honaker, Mae Marshall, and Josie Kennedy.

Left behind to cherish his memories his daughter, Pamela Franchi and husband Peter of Dublin, VA; daughter in law, Tonya Stanley of Boyce, VA; sister, Mary Hughes of Coeburn, VA; grandchildren, Christine Patterson, and Emma Stanley; great-grandchildren, Riley Patterson and Silas Patterson; special friends, Jerry Kiser, Danny Odle, Teddy Crabtree, JB Crabtree and Jesse Stanley; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
