COEBURN, VA - Darris Allen Adkins, 63, passed away Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father, Garland Adkins; his mother, Bessie Marie Prillhart Adkins and one brother, Darrell Adkins.
He is survived by two sons, Dennis Allen Adkins of Pound, VA, Bradley Wayne Adkins of Coeburn, VA; a sister, Pamela Myers of Tampa, FL; a granddaughter, Alexis Adkins of Lebanon, VA.
The family will receive friends after 6:00 PM Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, at Estes Funeral Home in Coeburn, VA. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Curt Bond officiating. Graveside committal services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at Greenwood Acres Memorial Park in Coeburn, VA.
