David Joel Evans, 64, of Sandy Ridge, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved taking care of the farm he grew up on.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Eliza (McCoy) Evans; two brothers, Lloyd Evans Jr. and Detmer Evans; and one sister, Patricia Evans.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Evans of the home; daughter, Rachel Evans (Adam Tipton); sister, Karen (Bill) Collins; brother, Harry (RosaLee) Evans; sister-in-Law, Rhonda Evans; several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, January 3, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Estes Funeral Home in Coeburn, VA. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Bro. Tommy Kiser and Alvin Meade officiating.
