David Mark Hill, 53, of Coeburn, VA died unexpectedly on May 27, 2024 at Buchanan General Hospital in Grundy, VA. Born in Wise County, VA he was a son of the late Maynard Ralph Hill, Sr. He worked in the construction industry as a Rigger prior to his disability.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by Naomi Stanley (who was like a mother to him) and a brother, Bennie Ray Hill.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Boggs Hill of Coeburn, VA; daughter, Tatum Layne Hill-Miller (Clayton) of Trinity, FL; brother, Maynard Ralph Hill, Jr of Coeburn, VA; sisters, Roaslee Hill Moore (Coy) of Kingsport, TN, Violet Hill Ball (Jasper) of Asheville, NC, Glenda Hill Castled (Mike) of Norton, VA, Rhonda Hill Taylor of Wise, VA, Lillie Hill Hileman (Scott) of Big Stone Gap, VA, Patricia Lynn Hill of Big Stone Gap, VA, Rebecca Hill Haynes (Rusty) of Norton, VA, and Crystal Hill Perrigan (Jay) of Coeburn, VA; grandchild, Everlee Grace Miller; 29 nieces and nephews; Special thanks to Glema O'Quinn (Mike), Missy Turner (John), Rhona Boyd and Anthony Murphy for their kindness and friendship.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Hill Family Cemetery on Little John Kennedy Dr. in Coeburn, VA.  with John Britton officiating. Those attending the graveside service are asked to meet at Estes Funeral Home at 2:00 PM for procession.
