David Patrick Sluss

David Patrick Sluss, 59, went home on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. David was the dad that everyone wishes they had. He was a beloved dad, son, brother, and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

David loved a good joke and was widely known as a prankster. He always had a funny story to tell and would do anything for a good laugh. He loved his children, his mom and dad, and all of his family and friends. He loved classic cars, including his Buick Skylark convertible, NASCAR, motorcycles, and Dr. Pepper. It was rare you would see David without a Dr. Pepper and a Reese cup in hand.

He is survived by his two children: Adrienne (Gage) McCoy and Stuart Sluss; Brother: Wayne (Teresa) Sluss; Mother of his children and friend: Nancy Jones Sluss; Nephew: Jordan (Meg) Sluss; Dear friend: Jess Nash; Kitty cat: Mango; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and family.
