Deborah K Carico, age 61, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24th, 2020. She was born February 5, 1959 in Norton, VA to Claude & Wilma Johnson. She was happily married to the love of her life, Clinton Riley Carico. Clinton Riley Carico, their infant son, Clinton Riley Carico Jr., grandson Michael Carico, & father Claude Johnson, preceded her in death.

Deborah loved everyone. Not a single person did she not instantly hug upon meeting. She was always showing her love through cooking, which she seemed to always be doing. Every Christmas she made batches of Christmas cookies & candies not only for her family but her many neighbors.

She also a member of the Mountain Empire, Coeburn site. She was a care giver for MEOC for many years.
She loved helping prepare dinners with the Widows Society, and traveling to see events with them.

Deborah is survived by mother, Wilma Johnson, her sister, Brenda Beaver, of Castlewood, VA, brother & wife, Donnie & Missy Johnson, sons: Dylan & Rider Johnson, of GA. Her daughter & sons: James & Shawna Carico, sons & daughter: Elliot, Robert, & Clara Carico, Deb & Scottie Skeens, son & daughter: Johnathan Carico & Melissa Collins, of Coeburn, VA, Billy Carico, of Abington, VA, sons: David Carico, of Coeburn, VA, & Billy Jack Carico, of Abington, VA, Jerry & Dawn Carico, of Coeburn, VA, sons: Jesse Lee Carico & Cody Carico, of Coeburn, VA, Greg Carico, of Coeburn, VA, sons & daughters: Chase & Amber Hughes, Jericho & Lacey Hughes, Chasity Carico, of Coeburn, VA, & Lauren Carico, of Coeburn, VA, plus 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, & her 2 nephews. And her many cherished friends of whom she loved deeply.

Please join us celebrating her life Monday, 27th, 2020 between 6-8 PM at Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave. NE. Coeburn, VA 24230. Burial will be in Walker McCoy Cemetery on Sandy Ridge at 11 AM on Tuesday, 28th, 2020.
