Dema Ann McCoy, 69, of Nora, VA entered into the gates of Heaven on Thursday, November 27, 2025. She was born on April 8, 1956 in Defiance, OH to the late Almond "Smokey" and Bertie Cochran. She made many sacrifices for her family and they loved her dearly. She was a strong wonderful woman. She loved to swim, play cards (mostly Phase 10) and spend time with her family. She always made others feel right at home and like part of the family.

In addition to her parents, Ann  is preceded in death by her son, Charles McCoy.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Ryan McCoy (Lesa Mullins) of Morristown, TN, and Valerie Marshall (Jeff) of Nora, VA. She loved all her grandchildren, Dylan McCoy, Tanner McCoy, Hayven McCoy, Ashlyn Marshall, Destiny Noe, and Dalton Green. Also survived by her sisters, Della Nichols, Amanda Cochran, Kelley Mayer, and Jackie Gibson; brothers, Tony Cochran, Craig Cochran, and Mike Cochran; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm at Estes Funeral Home of Coeburn, VA. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Tommy Kiser officiating. Burial will be Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Hubert McCoy Cemetery, with Jerry McCoy officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:00 pm to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request everyone to keep the family in your thoughts and prayers, and enjoy time spent with family and friends in honor of Ann.
