Dennis Clayton Boggs, Sr, 63, was called home by his Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Bristol Regional Hospital with his wife of 43 years and family by his side.
Dennis was preceded in death by his daughter, Denise Boggs, his father and mother, Oliver and Bessie Young Boggs, brothers Ralph Boggs, Jimmy Boggs Donald Boggs and Carson Boggs, and a sister Helen Boggs Hammonds.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Threva Boggs. A son Dennis and Natasha Boggs of Coeburn. A Daughter Tishia and Sam Adams of Coeburn. He had three amazing grandsons whom he loved dearly, Logan Adams, Jacob Adams and Hunter Harrison, all of Coeburn. He is survived by sisters Marie and Allan Adams of Valdosta, Ga., Libby and Mike Smith of Coeburn, Va,, Maxie and Bobby Couch of Coeburn, Va., and Eunice and Charlie Miller of Castlewood, Va. He is survived by two brothers Oliver Boggs of Brushy Ridge, Va., and Joe Boggs of Georgia.
Dennis was an avid HAM Radio enthusiast. He went by the Call Sign AD4NZ and he enjoyed this the greater part of the last 20 years. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Estes Funeral Home Chapel from 5-7. The funeral will be at 7 P.M. in the chapel with Brother R.L. Crawford speaking. Graveside will be Sunday, October 13,2013 at Kilgore Cemetary in Coeburn, Va. at 2 pm. Family and friends will precede to the graveside at 1:30 from Estes Funeral Home. Estes Funeral Home, Coeburn, Va. is in charge of all arrangements.
