Castlewood, VA ~DonaldRay Burke, 62 died Friday, October 5, 2006 at Russell County Medical Center in Lebanon Virginia.
He was the son of the late JobieBurke andLina Mae Porter Burke, also preceded in death by brother, J.B. Burke and sister, Helen Jordan.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Smith Burke, TwoDaughters, Angela D. Short, Big Stone Gap, and Lisa Ann McFaddin, Coeburn; TwoSons, Donald Ray Burke II , and Michael Glen Burke, both of Coeburn; Two Step-Daughters, Jennifer Kite, Kingsport, TN and Deanna Rhea, Bristol, TN; Two Step-Sons, Clyde Ray Hale and Michael Hale, both of Castlewood; Three Granddaughters,Lindsey Short, Mary McFaddin and Danielle McFaddin;One Grandson,Holden Burke; OneSister, Kaye Sizemore, Coeburn; TwoBrothers, Elton Burke, Coeburn and Houston Burke, Cucumber, WV;One Special Nephew,Darrell Porter; 10 Step Grandchildren; one Step great grandchild.

Graveside service and burial for Donald Ray Burke will be at Greenwood Acres Memorial Gardens in Coeburn at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 8, 2006 with Rev. Jimmy Watson officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 7, 2006 after 6:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel in Coeburn.
