Doris Ann Salyers, 80, entered into rest Friday, February 13, 2026 at Bristol Hospice House in Bristol, TN. She was born July 17, 1945 in Coeburn, VA to the late Charles and Hazel Sluss.

In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her son, Randall "Lil Bill" Salyers; step-mother, Ida Sluss; sisters, Greta Reece, and Christeen Horsley; brothers, C.W. "Buddy" Sluss, James Sluss, Arthur Sluss, Ralph Sluss, and Johnny Sluss.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Patrick Salyers and wife, Francis; daughters, Joyce Osborne and husband, Glen, and Lee Ann Salyers; siblings, Danny Sluss and wife, Betty, and Emma Jean Creed; grandchildren, Brittany Boggs, Kristen Salyers, Cody Salyers, Helen Coceano, Oliva Davis, Derek Salyers, Jacob Salyers, Hannah Salyers, Chloe Bentley; several special great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm with services following at 2:00pm. Graveside will follow in the Greenwood Acres Cemetery in Coeburn, VA.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
