Coeburn, VA ~ Douglas Daniel Counts, 45, died Monday, November 1, 2004 at Indian Path Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
Mr. Counts was a coal miner, lifelong resident of Dickenson County and was of the Christian Faith.
Survivors include his mother, Didama Counts; 2 sons, Daniel Counts and Stephen Counts and mother, Ethel Rose all of Coeburn; 2 brothers, Andrew Counts and Ronnie Counts both of Abingdon; 5 sisters, Patricia Robinette and Marzella Smith both of Coeburn, Norma Gobble, Abingdon, Vanessa Sexton, Mendota, VA and Rebecca Hileman, Bluff City, TN; Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Douglas Daniel Counts will be held Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Curtis Bond officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Coeburn. Visitation will be held at Estes Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday after 6:00 P.M.
