Coeburn, VA ~ Earnest E. Greear, Sr., 92 passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at Mountain View Medical Center in Norton Virginia.

He was a retired mechanic and former employee of Odle Motor Company.

He was the son of the late Joseph Garfield Greear and Mary Winebarger Greear also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Ray Greear, a grandson, John Greear and several other family members. Survivors include his wife, Lillian Collins Greear; four sons, Earnest P. Greear Jr. , Coeburn, Estil Eugene Greear, Hopewell, Michael Greear, Dungannon, and Claude Anthony 'Tony' Greear, Wise; grandchildren, Angela Feller, Regina Lynn Campbell, Tina French, David Greear, Steve Greear and Sarina Mutter, great grandchildren, Megan, Dylin, Kateland, Katherine, AJ and Andrew, several great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Earnest E. Greear will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 7:30 PM at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Adkins officiating. Burial will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 8, 2018 at Greenwood Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Sunday after 6:00 P.M. until service time at Estes Funeral Home.
