Edna M. Hill Nixon

Coeburn, VA ~ Edna Marlena Hill Nixon, 83 passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015 at her residence in Coeburn Virginia.
She was a former employee of D&J Fuel in Coeburn.
She was the daughter of the late Lewis Franklin Hill and Oakie Leah Hill; also preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Nixon; four sisters, Delma Greene, Stella Hall, Trula Bell, and Gloria Newman and two brothers, Joseph Franklin Hill and Benny Roger Hill.
Survived by a daughter, Sherrie Holbrook, and husband, Kenneth, Fort Worth, TX; two sons, Jerry Nixon, and wife, Charlotte and Terry Nixon, and wife,Lynne all of Coeburn; two sisters, Thelma Culves, Macon, GA and Mary Kern, Morgantown, WV; Grandchildren, Lisa Nixon, Jason Nixon, Justin Nixon, and wife Bridget, Anthony Nixon and wife, Brittany, Holly Nixon Deloach and husband Jessie, Heather Nixon Reece, Jon Todd Nixon and wife Karrie and Nick Funk, Nora German and husband, Ben; great grandchildren, Issac Nixon, Hayley Nixon, Landon Nixon, Alexis Nixon, Daniel Ball, Cody Pickett, Chase Reece, Sydney Reece, Kaylee Nixon, Tanner Nixon, Skylar Nixon, and Conall German; great great grandchildren, Danni Ball, Jaxon Ball and Cayden Pickett; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Edna M. Nixon will be held Sunday, August 23, 2015 after 5:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel and funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Stan Tate officiating. Burial will be 11:00 A.M. at Greenwood Acres Memorial Gardens in Coeburn, VA on Monday, August 24, 2015. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave. NE, Coeburn, VA.
