Coeburn, VA ~ Edna L. Jessee, 83, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday at 9:32 P.M., November 27, 2002 surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nathaniel (Scott) Jessee, her parents, Ingle H. and Augusta (Gussie) L. Marshall Bright; brothers, Claude "Pistol" Bright & Arthur Bright; sisters, June Brown & Hazel Oliver; friend, Helen Harmon.
Survivors include brother & sisters-in-law, Gordon R. & Virginia Bright, Coeburn & Bobby S. & Janie Bright, Mt. Sidney, VA; sister, Jo LaCounte, Reno, NV; sisters & brothers-in-law, Linda B. & Howard Koff, Albany, NY & Sharon B. & Richard Holub, Loudonville, NY; brother-in-law, Col. Greg J. Brown, Charlotte, NC; sisters-in-law, Blanche Bright, Coeburn, VA & Marie Bright, Westmoreland, ME; 6 grandchildren, Lisa, Sarah, Michael, Scott, Rebecca & Bobby; great grandchildren; Paige & Dominic; 6 nephews, Robert Bright, Jerry Bright, P.W. Funeral services for Edna L. Jessee will be held Saturday, November 30, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at Coeburn United Methodist Church with Rev. Rose Mincey officiating. Burial will follow in the Gouge Cemetery in Coeburn.Visitation will be held at Estes Funeral Home on Friday after 6:00 P.M
