Coeburn, VA ~ Emory Mitcheal Carico, 88, died Tuesday, June 10, 2003 athis residence in Coeburn, Virginia.
Mr. Carico was a retired coal miner of Cllinchfield Coal Co.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mitcheal Levi and Sarah Riggsby Carico.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Faye Bates Carico; 2 sisters, Bertha Meade, Coeburn and Gladys Carico, Buchanan County Virginia, a brother, Clifford Carico, MI; brother-in-law, Roy Smith, Coeburn; several nephews and several nieces.
Visitation for Emory Mitcheal Carico will be held at Estes Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday after 4:00 P.M. where funeral services will be at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Donald Harding officiating. Burial will follow in the Carico Cemetery on Sandy Ridge on Friday, June 13, 2003 at 11 A.M. Family will meet at the funeral home at 10 AM and procession will leave at 10:30 A.M.
