Coeburn, VA ~ Emory Franklin Osborne, 76 went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 25, 2009.
Emory was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps with an honorable discharge in 1960.
He waspreceded in death by his parents, William Floyd and Dolly Belle Osborne and son, Emory Joseph Osborne.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Barbara Jean Buchanan Osborne, Coeburn, VA; five children, Sheila Hayes, Timothy Osborne, Paula Sue Osborne, and Michelle Page, all of Coeburn, and Charles Osborne, Stafford, VA; sister, Ruby Seymore; half-brothers, Bobby Joe and David; six grandchildren, Jonathan, Melanie, Jason, Melissa, Chelsea, Kayla; four great grandchildren, Jessee, Ethan, Logan and Scott.

Funeral services for Emory Franklin Osborne will be held on Saturday February 28, 2009 2:00 PM at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Largeofficiating. Burial will be follow at the McReynolds Cemetery in Crab Orchard. Visitation will be held Friday after 6:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
