Estle Castle, 69, of Coeburn, Virginia, entered into eternal rest on April 12, 2025. Estle was known by many names such as "Big Rig", "Daddy", "Joe", and his favorite, "Papaw". He was one of a kind and there will never be another like him.

He was born to the late Gordon and Ethel Castle in Wise, VA on July 24, 1955.

In addition to his parents, Estle was preceded in death by the love of his life of 49 years, Louise Castle; son, Anthony Levi Castle; sisters, Gerldine Bullion and Margie Castle; brothers, Benny Castle, Ralph Castle, Floyd Castle, Tennie Castle, and Bruce Sexton.

Survivors include his daughter, Misty (Maggie Mae) Maggard; son, Jonathan (Cierra) Castle; grandchildren, Gatlin Castle, Ryder Johnson, Braydon Sexton, Jaylynn Sexton, Colton Sexton and Maci Sexton; sisters, Helen Conner, Alice (Mac) Freeman, Pauline Gibson, and Shelby Wallace; brothers, Dallas (Jenny) Castle, Ernie (Mary) Collins, Leon Collins, and Allen (Kathy) Collins; 19 nephews, 22 nieces, and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, April 14, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Estes Funeral Home with funeral services following at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Donald Harding, Jr officiating. Committal service will be Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Castle Family Cemetery in the Pine Camp community of Coeburn, VA. Family and friends are ask to meet at the funeral home by 11:30 AM to proceed to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Collins, Tracy Salyers, Chris Gibson, Tracy Salyers, Jr, Austin Salyers, and Mason Sexton.
