Coeburn, VA ~Eunice Marie Castle Buchanan, 86, beloved wife, mother and friend, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at her daughter's home.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, E. Harold Buchanan, son, Everett Harold Buchanan, Jr. Her parents, Clarence and Lacey Castle, brothers, Clarence Castle and James Castle and sister, Bonnie Fletcher.
Surviving are daughters, Vickie Buchanan and companion, Noel Stallard, Abingdon, Cathy and Jeff Dotson, and Jeanie and Tom McCarty, all of Coeburn, a son, Kermit and Darlene Buchanan, Coeburn; grandchildren, Brandon and Erin Sloce, Baltimore, MD, Brooke and Billy Mays, Norton, Breanne and Dallas Gentry, Matthew Freeman, Hunter McCarty, Hayley McCarty and Hannah Buchanan, all of Coeburn and Jeremy Buchanan, Nickelsville, VA; great grandchildren, Cameron and Teagan Sloce, Baltimore, MD, Julianne Salyer, Coeburn and Ella Mays, Norton; special caretakers Pat Mays and Darlene Buchanan and a host of friends and relatives.

Funeral services for Eunice Marie Buchanan will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joe Buchanan officiating. Burial will be Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday after Noon at 12:00 at Estes Funeral Home prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Brandon Sloce, Billy Mays, Dallas Gentry, Matthew Freeman, Hunter McCarty and Jermey Buchanan. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave., Coeburn, VA.
