Coeburn, VA

Frances Fay Stallard McCammon, 80, of the Flatwoods community in Coeburn, VA, entered into rest, Monday, September 26, 2022, at her home. She was born July 19, 1942, to the late Joseph and Lola Large Stallard in Wise, VA. Frances loved to sew and do quilting. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Along with her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her siblings, Violas, Ray, June, Carol, Shirley, and Lucy.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her son, Kevin McCammon (Lara) of Dante, VA; daughters, Karen Roberts (Wayne) and Kimberly McCammon both of Coeburn, VA; brother, Ronnie Stallard (Faye) of Abingdon, VA; grandchildren,  Matthew Roberts (Amanda), Kristen McGregor (Chad), Gavin Roberts, Xander Roberts, Adriana McCammon, Madison McCammon, and Chandler McCammon (Haley); great-grandchildren, Evan Mullins, Sophie Roberts, Myles McCammon, and Layton Lee; Several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 5p.m. to 7p.m. at Estes Funeral Home in Coeburn, VA. Memorial service will follow at 7p.m. with Pastor Robert Ledford officiating. Burial will be private.
