George Ervin Salyers, 87 went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Sunday December, 20, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Kelly, Herbert, Ray, Hershal, Ernest and Harlen Salyers.

George is survived by wife Shirley Salyers, children; Anita Salyers, Teresa Gibson, Bernice (Curtis) Adkins, Curtis Salyers, Diana (Rex) Harvey, Lila (Randy) Hensley, Donald (Tracey) Salyers, Ernest Salyers, Billy Salyers, Angela Powers; 21 Grandchildren; 24 Great-grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-grandchildren.

George was a member and a deacon of Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and loved to share that love with anyone that would listen.

Services will be held at Estes Funeral Home chapel Wednesday December, 23 2020 at 1:00p.m. With clergyman Willie Stanley officiating. Burial will follow at Hampton-Salyers Cemetery, Caney Ridge, Va.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.

Estes Funeral Home will be serving the Salyers family.
