Coeburn, VA ~ Goldie May Dotson Phillips, 93, died Monday, September 16, 2002 at Richfield Nursing Facility in Salem, Virginia.
Mrs. Phillips was a native Wise & Dickenson Counties but had lived with a grandson, Charles Mays in Elliston, Va.for the past couple of years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Andy Phillips & Willard N. Dotson her first husband; her parents, Blaine and Fannie Mullins Lee; a Son, Dexter Dotson; Daughters, Mattie Lambert & Sondra Dotson; Sisters, Margaret Yager & Bessie Stull; Brothers, Chester Lee, Arthur Lee & Thedore Lee.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Erma Nixon, Greenfield, IN & Trula Wright, Abingdon, VA; 2 sons, Cornell Dotson, Wellington, OH & Wilmer Dotson, New London, OH; a sister, Ida Cassimus, Arlington, TX; a brother, Junior Hamilton, Coeburn, VA; 15 Grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, several nephews & several nieces.

Funeral services for Goldie May Phillips will be held Thursday, September 19, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at Estes Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood. Visitation will be held at Estes Funeral Home on Wednesday after 6:00 P.M.
