Coeburn, VA ~ Hansford "Hank" Fleming, Sr., 78, wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away Friday, May 29, 2009 at Veterans Administration Hospital in Mountain Home, Tennessee.
He was born in Clintwood, VA. but lived most of his life in Coeburn and was owner and operator of Fleming Body Shop & Wrecker Service in Coeburn.
He was a U.S Army Veteran and served as an M.P.
He was preceded in death by parents, Emory and Pall Fleming; son, Kim Fleming; a sister, Beatrice Williams; three brothers, Homer Fleming, Pearlie Flemingand Fitchue Fleming; granddaughter, Cindy Holbrook; grandson, Christopher Fleming, niece, Sue Fleming.
Survivors include his wife, Nora Combs Fleming; daughters, Tammy Kilgore, and husband, Jeff, Coeburn, Lavon Greear, and husband, David, Coeburn; son, Hansford "Little Hank" Fleming Jr., Coeburn, daughter-in-law, Tammy Fleming, Coeburn; Grandchildren, Stacy Holbrook, Erika Fleming, Megan Fleming, Hailey Fleming, Breanna Fleming, Jacob Gentry and Jacob Kilgore; great grandchildren, Whitney Hale, CienaDraughn and Michaela Gibson. sisters, Lottie Faye Strouth and husband, Roy, Clintwood, Birdie Stanley, Jenkins, KY, Ida Lue Little, and husband, Charles, Paris, TN; sister-in-law,Theda Fleming, Jenkins, KY; brother, A. C. Fleming,and wife, Sally, Girard, PA .

Funeral services for Hansford "Hank" Fleming, Sr. will be held on Tuesday June 02, 2009 at 8:00 PM at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Curtis Bond and Rev. Gary "Pete" Perdue officiating. Burial will be Wednesday June 03, 2009 at Combs Cemetery in Clintwood. Visitation will be held Tuesday after 6:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, Coeburn, VA.
