Harry W Buchanan, 95, entered into rest on October 10, 2022, at his home in Morristown, Tn.  He was born, December 28, 1926, to the late George Dewey Buchanan and Bertha Branham Buchanan of Darwin, Va.

Harry was a WWII army veteran and was always proud of serving his country. He was married to Norma A. Buchanan for 74 years. They owned and operated Buchanan Furniture Company in Coeburn, VA for 38 years until their retirement. He loved tending to his fruit and nut trees and fishing on Cherokee lake. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be cherished in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Along with his parents, Harry is preceded in death by his Wife, Norma A. Buchanan.

He is survived by his daughter, Susan P. Holt of Chuckey, TN; son, Danny S. Buchanan of Knoxville, TN; three grandchildren, George Brett Powers of Bean Station, TN, Allison Walker of Knoxville, TN, and Aaron Buchanan of Greensboro, NC; one great-grandchild, Zoe Walker of Knoxville, TN.

All services for Harry will be private. He will be laid to rest in Laurel Grove Cemetery in Norton, VA.
