Coeburn, VA ~ Hattie Pearl Hamilton, 77, died Thursday, September 20, 2001 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
Mrs. Hamilton was a lifelong resident of the Caney Ridge section of Coeburn.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard A. Hamilton; her parents, Jonas and Cora Wyatt Salyers; 5 brothers, Scott Salyers, Frank Salyers, Worley Salyers, Anderson Salyers and Dewey Salyers; 1 sister, Myrtle Hutchinson and 1 son, Joel Salyers.
Survivors include 1 son, Harry Hamilton, Coeburn; 2 grandsons, Dwaine Hamilton, Coeburn and Ray Hamilton both of Coeburn; 1 granddaughter, Rachel Hamilton, Coeburn; 1 great grandson, Christopher Lee Gibson, Norton; 1 brother, Ora Salyers, Coeburn; 1 sister, Dussie Keith, Coeburn; several nephews and several nieces.

Funeral services for Hattie Pearl Hamilton will be held Sunday, September 23, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. W.C. Rose officiating.Burial will follow in the Rugsby Cemetery in Coeburn.Visitation will be held at Estes Funeral Home on Saturday after 6:00 P.M. where a song service will be held at 7 P.M.
