Kingsport, TN ~ Helen Gray Jones Bond, 79, died Saturday, January 10, 2004 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
Mrs. Bond was of the Baptist faith and her interests were gardening, Atlanta Braves baseball, crossword puzzles and most of all her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Wheeler and Lucy Lee Leonard Jones, Sr., daughter, Billie Bond Cross; sisters, Peggy Jones Wagner and Anna Jones Campbell.
Survivors include daughters, Donna Bond Gathright, Charlottesville, VA and Nancy Jane Bond Glass, Colonial Heights, TN; son, James William Bond, Jr., Gray, TN; brothers, Jack Jones, Jim Jones and Ray Jones all of Coeburn and Charles Scott Jones, Abingdon; sisters, Kathleen Fugate and Betsy Dingus both of Coeburn; 5 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, several nephews and several nieces.

Funeral services for Helen Gray Bond will be held 2 P.M.Monday at First Baptist Church in Coeburn with Rev. Lee Kidd and Rev. R.J. Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Coeburn. Visitation will be held at Estes Funeral Home on Sunday after 6 P.M.
