Henry L. Hall, 75, of Coeburn, VA entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 7, 2024 with his loving family by his side. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Coeburn High School and a member of Riverside Church of God in Coeburn of which he served as Pastor up until the time of his illness. He united in marriage with the love of his life, Phyllis, and they shared 53 wonderful years together. Henry enjoyed spending time with his family and making precious memories with his grandchildren.
Born in Wise County, VA, he was a son of the late Emory and Gertrude (Sands) Hall.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Neslein; brothers, Milam Hall, Early Hall, Jerry Hall, Charlie Hall, and Sammy Ray Hall.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis (Salyers) Hall of the home; daughters, Teresa Mutter and husband, Keith of Coeburn and Kristie Porter and husband, Jason of Coeburn; brothers, Joe Hall of KY and David Hall of Coeburn; grandchildren, Hunter Porter, Logan Porter, Isabella Porter, Emilee Mutter and Maggie Mutter Varble; great grandchildren, Rhett Porter and Knox Porter.
Visitation will be Monday, September 9, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave NE, Coeburn, VA. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Jason Porter officiating. Committal services will be Tuesday 1:00 PM at Greenwood Acres Cemetery in Coeburn. Pallbearers will be Keith Mutter, Hunter Porter, Logan Porter, Matthew Varble, Matthew Rasnic and Noah Rose. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:30PM Tuesday for procession to the cemetery.
The family wishes to extend a special word of thanks to Caris Hospice and The Cancer Center of Norton for their kindness and compassion during Henry's illness.
