Coeburn, VA ~ Rev. Henry Allen Hamm, 87 passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Norton Community Hospital in Norton, Virginia.
He was a retired coal miner and a former employee of Westmoreland Coal Company.
Henry was the son of the late John Grover Hamm and Lucy Louisa Dingus Hamm, also preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Allen Kilgore; several brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Cora Hamilton Hamm, Coeburn; three daughters, Dianna (James) Reece, Big Stone Gap, Judy (Roy) May Slemp, Coeburn, and Robin (Sam) Blevins, Lebanon; a brother, Lindsey Hamm, Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Crystal Gazoni, Joshua Blevins, Destinee Blevins, great grandchildren, Katie Kilgore, Ben, Caleb and Eiljah Blevins, Nicholas Gazoni, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Henry Allen Hamm will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 7:30 PM at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Darrell Milgram officiating. Burial will be 11 AM Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Temple Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Friday after 6:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home until funeral time. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave., Coeburn, VA.
